WHY is faith such a struggle???

“Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.”

And I am not simply talking about religious faith (though this too can make you question your very own sanity) but faith in yourself….

Our lives are filled with external and internal strife. We cannot live life, appreciate it without experiencing some type of obstacle.  Think about it…how would we realize the pinnacle of triumph without dealing with life’s most difficult moments.

“But there is suffering in life, and there are defeats. No one can avoid them. But it’s better to lose some of the battles in the struggles for your dreams than to be defeated without ever knowing what you’re fighting for.” Paulo Coelho

What makes the struggle worthwhile, and dealing with daily trials (sometimes) for the long-term is faith in yourself…knowing you have the ability to get through it all. We worry so much about how people perceive us that we don’t stop and take the time on how we think about ourselves….to slow down. Slow down………..for whatever reason we set all these goals and we become paralyzed by fear that it becomes impossible to meet them.

Who exactly are you afraid of?

Of what??????

We become obsessed by how others see us that yes, we do lose faith in ourselves.

Live with integrity and faith will follow.

“The great majority of us are required to live a life of constant duplicity. Your health is bound to be affected if, day after day, you say the opposite of what you feel, if you grovel before what you dislike, and rejoice at what brings you nothing but misfortune.” ~ Boris Pasternak

  1. Faith. Religious faith is not something I believe in completely now. Since we are born, we were taught to do certain things and if we ask “why?” we might either get lectured or shouted at. As I grew older, I felt that religious faith was something you obtain by yourself if you honestly follow it with your heart and soul but now I feel it is something useless to me because no matter how much faith I have for God, I never get any tranquility and nothing ever goes the way I want it.

As for normal faith, as you said people usually notice what people think of them and say about them and that shakes their faith but if you are confident about yourself and the things you do, no matter what people say or think should never shake your faith but on the contrary, you should show THEM how strong you are and prove them wrong.
