For what it’s worth

suc·cess·ful/səkˈsesfəl/

Adjective:
  1. Accomplishing an aim or purpose: “a successful attack on the town”.
  2. Having achieved popularity, profit, or distinction.

Being successful has its moments.  Money, fame, power whatever you consider a personal achievement.

Setting life achievement goals is one way of ensuring you live a life worth living.  I cannot understand individuals who seem to run on autopilot or who expect to be catered.  Life isn’t easy but if you go in with a positive attitude you can achieve anything you are capable of doing. Sometimes we have to redefine what success is. At times we do bite off more than we can chew. Don’t be discouraged if all your goals are not met at once. Sometimes they have to be broken down into manageable components. Looking at the bigger picture can be daunting.  You see the mountain you have to climb and you don’t know how to get there, or what tools to use.

Instead of letting this get you down start with the first step, focus on that, keep your goal in mind and continue pushing forward.

Don’t aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
David Frost

People ask me how I was able to earn my degrees, serve in the military and raise a child. They find the whole situation far too difficult to contemplate. I simply took one day at a time, broke down my goals and never lost sight of what I wanted.

All of this depends on how badly you want it.

Do you have the fire? The passion to go after your heart’s desire?

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.
Booker T. Washington

Remember, the sweetest joy comes from the hardships we face for we cannot appreciate what we have achieved without facing some obstacles along the way……..
