Strength comes in many forms. Not just the physical kind….no, the type of strength I am going to talk about here is found deep inside each and every one of us and can remain throughout our years even when our bodies start to fail us.
This strength has gotten me through many many rough trials…has helped me deal with grief, loss, confusion and deceit.
We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face… we must do that which we think we cannot.
You know how you get used to some things…people even and though being with them can give you such a rush at the same time you know being with them it isn’t necessarily the best thing for you. So you have to make a decision as to whether or not to continue or to move on. And if you decide to continue then certain aspects of the relationship which have made you suffer, given you pain have to change or you really need to move on.
Strength can also be found during some of our toughest moments, loss of a job, a loved one….finances and you have to take a step back and breathe. Slow things down and figure out a way to take action…to not be afraid.
Developing willpower can be a slow process if it’s something you aren’t used to. But the way I see things there is simply no choice.
You have to carry on.
