All we have are our memories

It’s been almost a year since we placed dad in hospice and he passed away.  I remember standing near his bedside during Thanksgiving and Christmas and then his birthday thinking about the life he led, the regrets we had, the ultimate forgiveness between a daughter and father and realized how insignificant materialistic things are, grudges, and resentment.

Camping some time in the 80's

No parent is perfect, certainly not mine but I know dad showed his love for us kids in his own way.
