Less is more

I think this rings true in many aspects of our lives, not just in what we wear, but sometimes in what we say to others.

How many times have you spoken to someone and immediately see their eyes glazing over, or you are trying to get your point across and your man is already rolling his eyes….or vice versa.

Who strive – you don’t know how the others strive
To paint a little thing like that you smeared
Carelessly passing with your robes afloat,-
Yet do much less, so much less, Someone says,
(I know his name, no matter) – so much less!
Well, less is more, Lucrezia.  Robert Browning

Less is more, for me at least, means having some kind of balance, leave a little to the imagination (not talking about playing games here) but knowing when using this concept is appropriate.
