My girl! So all was not for waste.
Well, (sigh) I gave in to my Micky D cravings and bought a chicken club with fries and coke.
Man…it was sheer exquisite Heaven.
I realized that when you are extra famished everything tastes better and I mean everything.
Well, I decided to try that recipe from my friend and my daughter is already dying to eat it. Nothing like a famished hormonal teenager on our hands.
She is always a food critic so I will have a pretty reliable source when it comes to yeah or nay.
I think I will take the casserole with me tomorrow. Some people at work think I don’t cook…(Can always make this dish for our next potluck). I may mix it up a bit and create a Texmex mix and use taco seasoning and crumpled tortilla chips and garnish with sharp cheddar cheese.
I can (when motivated) love exploring in the kitchen with new recipes. I have a guinea pig to
experiment try all these new things on…and it isn’t me.
I love to eat this stuff when I am really hankering for something sinful and yeah buddy….McDonald’s has all that and a bag of chips! I’m lovin’ it baby!!

What I have noticed is that sometimes women will “overdo” it on the makeup angle. Now this faux pax can be seen in the younger and older generations. I have found now as I grow older that less is more…. It seems to me that a woman’s natural beauty is emphasized naturally as she ages. I always admire women who are able to look stunning with little effort.
No law of physics here but it seems to me that if you were to compare a positive person against a negative…whose life is happier and whose dreams are more fulfilled?
My sister wants me to read a book entitled The Secret. I have heard about it…wasn’t sure if I wanted to read it because it seemed kind of “out there” for me but hey…I am open minded enough to explore this avenue and see if anything in there fits my own philosphy.
According to a book review done by Tim Challies informs us that:
The law of attraction, which Byrne says is the most powerful law in the universe, states that people experience the logical manifestations of their predominant thoughts, feelings, and words. This gives people direct control over their lives. A person’s thoughts (whether conscious or unconscious) and feelings bring about corresponding positive or negative manifestations. Positive thoughts bring about positive manifestations while negative thoughts bring about negative manifestations. The theory is very simple. Because it is an absolute law, the law of attraction will always respond to your thoughts no matter what they are. Thus your thoughts become things. You are the most powerful power in the universe simply because whatever you think about will come to be. You shape the world that exists around you. You shape your own life and destiny through the power of your mind.
I believe to a certain extent that we human beings can determine our own destinies, however I also believe in Fate. But if we attempt to live our lives in a manner that is in sync to what we want for ourselves and at the same time helping others, I think our lives and this world would definitely be a better place to live.
